WILL OF GOD

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, Paul chose to do the will of God when he was in prison. When he wrote the epistle of Ephesians he imprisoned by the Romans. His situation or circumstances didn't stop Him from doing the will of God Are we focused to do the will of God or focused on the problems or the challenges that we are facing? 1.GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES:

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God . When we start to give thanks the situation will start to change. When we start to thank and praise God for His goodness and His mercies and His love and His grace, the prison doors will start to open.God will make a way for us in wilderness when we start to give thanks to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Ephesians 5:20 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Just look at the life of Joseph.Even though the situation is very worse. He didn't grumble against God and never complained the situation that he is facing . God exalted Joseph from Pit to Palace . Even when he was in the house of Potiphar and in the Prison he didn't question God. Joseph said to his brothers “And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life...... now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt ‘Genesis 45:5-8

We should have the attitude to take everything that happened in our life in a Positive way.Every thing that happened in our life is for a reason. We should learn to grow from our experiences and failures and short comings and the humility or the circumstances that we faced.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phil4:6

2.SUBMIT TO THE WILL OF GOD Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways SUBMIT to Him, and He(God) will make your paths straight. Prov 3:5,6(NIV) For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:38 & 40 Jesus submitted to the will of God in other words he obeyed the will of God.He chose to fulfill the purpose that God had for Him. Hebrews 10:7&9 reads Then I said,‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me—To do Your will, O God.’......…9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. 10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Lets us check ourselves whether we are doing the will of God in our lives or are we are doing everything in our flesh?

When we do the will of god we are fulfilling Gods purpose in our life Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Ephesians 5:17 Teach me to do Your will,For You are my God;Your Spirit is good.Lead me in the land of uprightness.Psalms 143:10

So many times we think we are doing God's will when we are actually doing our own will. We need to seek God in silence and listen to Him before embarking on something that sounds good but was never His will.
