Rhema In your heart Week 1

Rhema In Your Heart Week 1 Purpose Of God God has created all of us for a specific purpose . Only our creator can reveal that purpose in our lives. When we ask God for that Jesus will reveal that to us. When we meet Jesus face to face, He should say to us “well done my good and faithful servant” July 13-Monday 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. July 14th-Tuesday I Peter 2:9 9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. NEW BEGINNING

As children, many of us would have learned about the amazing transformation of a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. The ability of the caterpillar is limited. They can only crawl and not fly. Caterpillar are stubby, fleshy and some are hairy. Your life can be like a caterpillar today. But the Lord God who created us, can transform our life and make us be a blessing to so many people around us. All we must do is submit our self in God’s hands . To become a butterfly, the caterpillar must fall apart completely, decompose down to its very essence, and literally dies. In the same way for us to go to the next level, there are certain things in us that should die, in other words our flesh must die. The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:16 “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Some of the things that are needed to be put to death are mentioned in the Bible. Colossians 3: 5-10 says “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly natur

MYSTERY REVEALED

Image
The Meaning for Mystery is   “ anything that is kept secret or remains unexplained or unknown”   The Lord God whom we worship is a God who Reveals the Mystery(secret things) . Daniel 2:22 says “He reveals deep and secret things ” & Daniel 2:28 says    “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God.” Deuteronomy 29:29 says  “But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets” Lets see how this Mystery was  made Known to Paul, the apostle of Gentiles. Saul  was a Jewish man born in the city of Cilicia, Tarsus and was taught according to the perfect manner of law at the feet of Gamaliel. Gamaliel is a Pharisee who had good reputation among the people and he is the doctor of the law. On his way to Damascus Saul had an encounter with the Jesus and he received his sight back and Holy Spirit and was baptized too. He was with disciples for certain days and straightway he started to preach in the synagogues.  Saul started to preach   the Jews that Jesus is the son of God. That means h

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FOLLOW JESUS?

We all want to follow someone or something. But why should you follow Jesus. Because He says: …Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Jesus - John 8:12 (NIV) He’s the light to the world. If you believe in Him, you will be free from your sins He cares for you He loves you with an everlasting love.  If you abide in His word (The Bible), He calls you His own. He says in John 16:20 “Your grief will turn into Joy” If you want to find out more, please read The Gospel of John in the Bible. Do you know The Story of the Beautiful Teacup? There was a couple who used to go to England to shop in the beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery and especially teacups. This was their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. One day in this beautiful shop they saw a beautiful cup. They said, "May we see that? We've never seen one quite so beautiful." As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the cup spoke. "You don't understand,"

WILL OF GOD

Image
Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, Paul chose to do the will of God when he was in prison. When he wrote the epistle of Ephesians he imprisoned by the Romans. His situation or circumstances didn't stop Him from doing the will of God Are we focused to do the will of God or focused on the problems or the challenges that we are facing? 1.GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES: In everything give thanks: for this is t he will of God . When we start to give thanks the situation will start to change. When we start to thank and praise God for His goodness and His mercies and His love and His grace, the prison doors will start to open.God will make a way for us in wilderness when we start to give thanks to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Ephesians 5:20 In everything give thanks: f or this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Just look at the life o

LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

Image
Just imagine this world without light: no sun, moon, stars or any lamps, candles or torchlight. We know that we cannot do anything that is productive, good or right when it is dark, nor do we like to live in the darkness. We can see the physical darkness with our human eyes and there is a spiritual darkness too. Lighting a lamp or candle will get rid of the darkness. But have you ever thought how to get rid of the spiritual darkness? The answer for this is JESUS . Around 4 B.C there lived a man named JESUS: ·        He was fully God and fully man. ·        He was with God from the beginning (before the creation/foundation of the world). ·        All things were made through him. ·        He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God) and born of a virgin. ·        He is the one and only begotten SON OF GOD. He lived on this earth for about 33 and a half years. When He walked on this earth, He spoke these words, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in dark

LOVE THAT LASTS

Image
Jeremiah 31:3 Says “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”  LOVE - Almost everyone uses this four-letter word in their everyday life. Everyone around us are looking for someone who will truly love them and care for them. Like children seeking the love of their parents, elderly parents seeking the love of their kids, wife seeking the love of her husband and vice versa and this list goes on. Sometimes when there is no one who loves us we become upset, depressed and hopeless; there are many who even go through depression, dejection and disappointment because of this.  But there is one person who loves you so much and cares for you no matter who you are and how messed up your life is. The Bible says in Isaiah 49:1” See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me” .  Well you may think who is the One who inscribed me in the palm of His hands, its none other than God. You are very prec

COME TO JESUS

Image
Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Here the scripture says” COME TO ME(JESUS)” These words were told by Jesus Himself. Jesus was with God from the beginning and everything that was created, was through him. The one who Created the heavens and the earth, the one who has authority over all the things, the one who formed you in your mother’s womb, the one who knows you by your name said these words “ Come to me.” Think about where you are going to when you need help, when you face hardships in your lives, who are you looking to, when the situation around you goes wrong who are you looking to. There is one place where you can go to, one person that you can look up to and The Bible points us to Him, that is JESUS ! Make a decision starting today, to go to Jesus and lay all your burdens at the feet of Jesus. There is no burden too greater that He cannot Philippians 4:6-7 says   “Do not be anxious about anything, but in ev
