LOVE THAT LASTS

Jeremiah 31:3 Says “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”
LOVE - Almost everyone uses this four-letter word in their everyday life. Everyone around us are looking for someone who will truly love them and care for them. Like children seeking the love of their parents, elderly parents seeking the love of their kids, wife seeking the love of her husband and vice versa and this list goes on. Sometimes when there is no one who loves us we become upset, depressed and hopeless; there are many who even go through depression, dejection and disappointment because of this.

But there is one person who loves you so much and cares for you no matter who you are and how messed up your life is. The Bible says in Isaiah 49:1” See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me” .  Well you may think who is the One who inscribed me in the palm of His hands, its none other than God. You are very precious to Him, the only thing that He is expecting from you is:
- For you to go to Him
- Talk to Him
- Be in His presence
- Share all your feelings, your pain, you hurt with Him.
- Ask him if you have any questions and when you lay it down at God’s feet, you will definitely get the answer.

Zechariah 2:8 says, “For he who touches you touches the apple of His eye”. You may think, am I so special to Him. Yes, without doubt you are very precious to Him. Jeremiah 31:3 Says “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”  He truly draws you with His lovingkindness. All you have to do is just start experiencing this great love. You may think it is easy to love the person who I see and who is next to me, but how can I love God who I cannot see. Just tell Him this with all your heart, “Jesus come into my life and be my everything.” After you have said this, you can feel the joy and peace of the Lord in your life.

God loved us so much that:
- He sent His only son Jesus to die for us so that we might be delivered.
- He bore the pain for us so that we might be healed.
- He took the Sin and curse upon His shoulder so that we might be set free.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Sin can trap us and hold us captive. But the good news is Jesus can set us free from all traps, bondages, fears, worries, addictions, hopelessness, pasts etc. John 8:36 says, “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” When you try to come out of certain addiction by yourself, you might fail. The good news is you can ask to Jesus to set you free. You do not have to be perfect to come to the Lord. Come just as you are. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” How great is His love for us! Come to the Lord just as you are and surrender your life to Him. He can turn it around for you.
