The Bible (word derived from Koine Greek τὰ βιβλία, tà biblía, "the books” or “the scrolls”). The word is derived from the ancient city of Byblos, which was the official supplier of paper products to the ancient world
Bible is not just a book but it’s THE BOOK. It’s the Book of books. It’s a book on which you can build your life. It is composed of 66 books by 40 different writers(authors) over 1,500 years. 
But what makes it unique is that it has one consistent storyline running all the way through, and it has just one ultimate author—God. 
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is His revelation to all people of Himself and His plan of salvation

The story is about God’s plan to rescue men and women from the devastating results of the Fall, a plan that was conceived in eternity, revealed through the prophets, and carried out by the Son of God, Jesus Christ. 
Jesus is the central character in the Bible—the whole book is really about Him.
Jesus was concealed in old testament and he was reveled in the new testament. The Old Testament right from the book of genesis predicts His coming and sets the stage for His entrance into the world. The New Testament describes His coming and His work to bring salvation to this sinful world. 

 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Matt 24:35

Just imagine this world without light: no sun, moon, stars or any lamps, candles or torchlight. We know that we cannot do anything that is productive, good or right when it is dark, nor do we like to live in the darkness.
